Man Behind The Fire

November 1, 2017

This is one of my all-time favorite quotes that I have run across. This pretty much is the reason I created Wilderness Therapy. Outside of my own struggles, I feel like there are others who are deprived of nature they feel it emotionally, and physically.

What does it mean that our heart becomes hard? This is simply stating that because we are so deprived of the beauty of the world that we simply start to believe that all this ugliness is how things really operate. When in essence it is the exact opposite.

Every day we hear non stop about politics, crime, war, and what people are doing wrong in their life. We begin to become accustomed to this way of life. Nature is one of the most beautiful things in the world and can heal the broken heart and mind. So don't take it for granted and enjoy it.
